The finest ring of 12 in the Diocese!

vision1
The "village" of Llandaff lies about a mile and a half to the Northwest of the centre of Cardiff. There you will find the Cathedral Church of Ss Peter and Paul, Dyfrig, Teilo and Euddogwy.

In addition to being a Cathedral, it is also the Parish Church. The Cathedral has its own Website.

On the ringing front, the former, 21 cwt. ring of 10 bells were taken out of the Jasper Tower during 1992, and, with added metal, recast into the present 24.5 cwt. ring of 12 (plus 6 flat).

There is currently no "open" ringing at Llandaff Cathedral due to the CoVid-19 situation. There are no weekly practices, and no ringing for Sunday Services. We cannot accommodate visitors or visiting bands for the time being.

There are, however, Sunday Services in the Cathedral and we will be "chiming" rather than ringing for at least one of these Services.

The tower is not open for access except in consultation with the Tower Captain. This is to help ensure the safety of our chimers and Cathedral staff.
